SMC ? recruits vendors through infomercials and ads in small business magazines. A huge part of their success can be contributed to their spokesman for many years, Tom Bosley, the famous father from the hit show ?Happy Days.?
This type of business worked great in the past, but now there are similar companies that offer competition to SMC ?. Another downfall of this type of company is the duplicate websites of vendors. Most search engines do not like carbon copy websites. This makes it difficult to advertise unless you create an original website.
SMC ? is a strong company that will continue to be around for many years, but I believe there are much easier ways to make money.
