Paid surveys were one of my first attempts at making money from the comfort of my home. The idea sounded great at first. After paying a small setup fee I could not wait to start receiving money for simply filling out surveys online.
I thought paid surveys would be an easy and fun way to make money using the internet. I filled out many surveys and to this day I still have not received any compensation for my time and effort.
Many paid surveys only offer you the chance at winning a cash prize by completing their survey. I have never heard of anyone making a large income from paid surveys. Paid surveys are a complete waste of time and are not recommended.
